Hi all, newbie here!

Have done lots of searching so please forgive me if its already everywhere!

The heater blower on my 06 Grande punto has been playing up. It died completely on Friday and ran very rough, stuttering and slow on the higher speeds today.

I have done a search and checked the fuse which is ok. All the connectors are also healthy. So those two are ruled out (especially as it ran a bit today so must be getting power).

I can see from previous threads that speed 4 bypasses the resistor, so assume it cant be that?

So that leads me to the motor, or the fan being clogged with leaves etc.

To remove the motor, do I need to remove the glove box? I can see the various torx screws under the dash and assume if I undo them the motor just frees up and comes down?

Dont suppose anyone has a how-to for removal and cleaning the motor and the fan (assuming they dont come out as one assembley?)

Thanks!!
