most seats would fit, you will need the vehicle specific base from the seat manufacturer tho (so add up to £60 per seat for this)

which model do you have? if you have the sporting with seatbelt sensors you might have issues i.e if someone is sitting on a seat with no seatbelt it beeps. So far no one has confirmed what if any problems this causes as i am looking to do the same

I have the active sport, which beeps :/

can that be disconnected?

My standard seats rattle something awful, i heard its a common fault though ... so im using it as an excuse to change them :p

Yeah you would need GP seat rails for the aftermarket seats.

The corsa vxr seats (recaro cs) are prob the best looking seats out there just now, and im pretty sure they are straight in fit – if from the corsa.

I take it the sensors wouldn't work and would have to be disconnected? So would that make it an autospark job? I'm not keen on fiddling with wires :p lol ... How much would the VXR seats cost me? :)

Also,

Can i get the GP seat rails from my local car parts dealer? will they be expensive?

I just looked on the recaro website, im not paying close to £1000 for two seats! :p lol

Can i fit any aftermarket seat onto the gp rails?

Thanks
Craig :D

anything will fit if you have a grinder and a welder, like i said before you have to get the seat base/rails specific for that seat and for your car if you want a direct fit - which will cost! I would look at buying second hand seats but make sure you can get hold of the matching base before you buy them.

you can get them on the recaro - uk website :) ... im still not paying £800 for A!! seat :)

Maybe if it was £800 for two :p lol

I would rather fit cheaper ones but i dont know how to get the right rails and stuff like that :/ is it just one set of rails i need?

Cheers

Looking at the costs I might wait till I get a few other bits and pieces done :) ... Does anyone know what is causing my seats to rattle? Is it easy/cheap to fix?

Thanks
