For transmission losses you should be looking at no more than 12% if they estimating above that then well they fixing figures. www.pumaracing.com or something like that, google it.

As for the ratios, google around, check the VXR website and possibly ask Lewey from this forum, he likes gearboxes and has had a lot of Ratio finding research based off a few of his threads
 
so basically people just guess on this site lol, im no further than i was, ill just go to the garage

didnt really understand what your getting at with trannie losses, my power at the fly is like 170 an at the wheels is 130 maybe 140 not too sure MAHA 4WD dyno, no remap, just went down to see wat i had, so i dont buy for a second tht thers a 195brake diesel its just lolable, just scrape tht with a hybrid i bet

Read through that site, lots of good information.

As for the gearbox, no idea on the ratios, google away! im sure it wont take more than 30 mins of your time to find it out. If you cannot be bothered just check the M32 box from the ebay would fit and get it fitted by someone that knows what they are doing.
 
update on mine, fiat tech says my gearbox is in need of replacemnet, diff bearings and synchros on way out, fiat dealer dont have the specialist tools to strip and rebuild the gearbox, so warranty company has agreed to replace whole box :) its coming on tuesday, so i am getting them to check clutch when box is off, might aswell pay them to stick a new clutch in while its all in bits . really happy :)
 
Getting car back today, recon gearbox fitted under extended warranty due to noisy synchros and bearings, asked if I wanted clutch changing at same time, free labour if I paid for new clutch, they quoted £594 for 3 piece clutch Inc concentric bearing! Got one from shop4 parts for 340 instead lol!
