I keep on getting a strong oil smell in the cabin of my car, even when the fan is not on and if it's on the hot or cold setting. It only seems to happen when I'm putting my foot down. I'm pretty sure its not the oil breather because it's not split but it seems like it could be coming from the air filter so I think it might be from the breather because when I took the induction kit off there seemed to be more oil than usual in it, but surely if I'm putting my foot down I shouldn't smell it as the smell would surely be sucked in though the turbo  Can anyone help?

have you checked to see that the oil feed is working properly ? checkerd the oil filter is tight , checked the turbo is not leaking anywhere , checked the end caseing on the gear box for leaks checked the bottom end for leaks? mine had a crappy hose that went so i replaced for a forge silicone part and no more problem, just have a good poke round and look for the leak once you spot it im sure some one will know the fix

Thanks I will have a go look around tomorrow but from looking before there are no visable leaks, what hose did you have replaced?
Does sound like the breather pipe, it makes a nasty oily smell.

Have tou tried popping the bonnet while the engines running to see if you can figure it out?

Yeah its quite strong but i havent smelt it today, I had a quick smell before around the air filter but im gunna sniff elsewhere lol
