Hello all,

After today's 26degree heats, I have decided that I REALLY need an AC unit in my '07 grande punto. I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a website with extra info about this, or if anyone knows of an installer in North Yorkshire?

Thanks,

LIam

for the large amount in would cost, it would defo be more economical to sell your basic model punto, and get a better version like a sporting that already has aircon....

How much is it roughly do you know? I'd be willing to pay a couple hundred :)

The condensor unit alone would probably cost a couple of hundred. Then then there is the compressor, the evaporator and in sure may other parts. As Matty_Oakley said it would be far cheaper to sell your car for a better model.

It would be well into the thousands. Compressors alone often cost north of £600. Sell your car and but another, there is no way on earth retro fitting will ever be advisable.

Unless you got the know how to do it yourself ;). I know someone who did it but he's an 'aircon guy' and he got all the parts off a crashed donor car.

So realistically no I wouldn't bother.
