My glove box handle has broken off and I've spoken to my local Fiat dealer who has told me that I can't order just the handle, I have to order the whole thing which is £75. I know that I only need the handle as I've had someone look at it - does anyone know if what the dealer said is right and if so where I can get just a handle?

why not just get some superglue if its just the handle and glue it back together?

Tell your dealer partsman to;

1) Go on some training courses
2) Come to FF to learn about Fiats
3) Order you the handle because it is available f*cking separate (£18)

I asked him if he knew where I could get it separately and he said 'afraid not but no Fiat dealer will be able to'!!!

Try ringing some up to find out would be my advice.

Trust me, I have fitted loads of them, they available in black or silver. If you search the forum you will get the part number as well but IMO thats the parts departments job Chris@souls will get you one, he has a trader page here on the forum so ask him.

mine broke the other week n ordered 1 from platts (stoke) pretty cheap and bout a 2 min job

You can defo get it, I've had mine done twice. I would phone some different dealers!:yum:

Do they come off easy? Is it a screw or what? Just wondering because I'm tempted to paint mine. I could go and look but I'm lazy

I believe its a case of opening it slightly so you can see the lugs that hold it on and then getting say a screwdriver or a knife in the gap to ease the lugs one way until they come off their mount.
