Was just driving home down the A1 this evening doing 70mph then BANG! and a constant scrape/whiring noise!
Thought "oh bugger, got a puncture" Pulled over, all tyres still fine.

Looked under the car to find the under tray hanging off!
Luckily I had some tape in my car so I had to try stick it back on and then crawl the rest of the way home.

Now its too dark to tell, but im pretty sure most/all of the screws are still in the car. So until the morning im not going to know exactly how this happened.

Does anyone know what screw will be used best to re attatch the under tray providing it hasn't cracked or snapped anywhere?

I know this is more of a rant, and more than likely a very simple no cost re attatch but its just annoyed me its come off at 11:30 at night!

Ive taken it off now and slung it in the back garden.
Due for an MOT next week so I will get them to fix it back on

I know its slightly unrelated but what is the small plastic flap that hangs down underneath the width of the front bumper for mine drags on the floor/speed bumps quite often

I'm sure its to deflect something just not sure what? Anyway i also believe its very useful as i park with the front of the car facing the kerb and it tells my wife when she's to close to the kerb!

Its so you know when your about to damage your sump.

mines lowered so have no undertray or rubber flap, i have honestly only caught my sum twice when going a bit reckless on rough roads.

otherwise had no issues without either other than i needed to re secure my arch linings as they will come away and catch on the wheel if not secure againts other trim.

best just to rip it off and go without
