Please get some pictures of the engine bay for us! I'm interested to see it.

Personally if I were you I wouldn't push the car hard at all for now, wait until remapping. You don't want all your hard work to just go bang, the remap should tie everything together nicely and make sure everything is doing what it should. Make sure they keep checking the Air/Fuel ratio whilst it's on the rolling road as well. (y)

now we have a serious problem, when we were tunning the turbo didnt give a full boost!!!!!!
what can be the problem, kowing that there are a built in blow off valve in the turbo, and could it be the waste gate???
the turbo i got is used not new one.
when i kick it to the floor turbo spooles as if it is full boost, but with weak acceleration and not giving full boost on boost gauge!!!
any ideas please.

Turbo timers are a massive pain to get working in new cars with canbus. I dont know anyone whos got one working with a canbus system at the moment. It works for leaving it running but you can not lock the car as the car still knows the engine is running.
 
Standard T-Jet was the start point? You might need the Abarth Boost sensors as the standard ones dont read high enough and will cause boost problems with the ECU.

a friend of mine had a T3 turbo and had no problem with the standard boost sensor!!!!:bang:

Yes, but very unlikely. If you can hear the turbo spooling and working hard and the acceleration is WEAK, then you have a boost leak somewhere. It would be likely that this would result in the car being slower than your old turbo- is this true?

absolutly true, but also the boost gauge is not giving a full boost (WHY??)
i am going to do couple of things,
i am going to change the waste gate and remove the built in blow off valve.
and check all connections
 
hey mate what turbo have you upgraded to on your t-jet? atm on mine im running a forge turbo/intercooler kit and it has been recorded as having a shade under 220bhp.
 
You are getting poor performance and low boost. The gauge is going to show low!! :confused:

Defo leaking boost. Similar stuff happening on my coupe and it turns out the exhaust manifold is cracked :(. Like lewey says the Turbo is spinning up and working hard but not as much power is being generated.
i will check it also, but if so it should produce a very loud sound, yes???

finally,
there was a bolt in the body of the turbo not tightened well,
also we have changed the waste gate and wooooooooww, what a hell difference :slayer::slayer:
i am going to remap in the next two weeks and sure will tell u about the progress>

Please guys it is almost finished but we r facing a problem that the fuel air ratio is very rich with fuel we are expecting yhat it is the fuel regulator, any comment???
And can we put the original regulator??
 
Mohamed...it is the fuel regulator not working good...Your car is doing good till now ..better AFR better performance..now about 180hp..still needs more tuning and more boost and better AFR..Expect a powerfull 200+hp car;) cheers..also expect mine to be a 220+ ;) maybe 230+
