Hi all,

I cant tell if I've a problem or not maybe im being paranoid. Today i noticed i could hear the sound of air releasing when pressing my break pedal and im not sure if this is normal.

I've a 1.416valve sporting

Could someone tell me if that noise is normal? Or does it sounds like a break booster problem

Any chance someone can check their car for similar sound to mine, rather worried about it and wont be able to visit garage till weekend.. unless its normal

Sounds perfectly normal to me, my car is exactly the same and i've had it since new.

Maybe you've just never noticed it before, and now its making you paranoid....

my mjet dosn't make that noise when you press the brake, if your brakes are working normaly then i wouldn't worry about it.

mine does if you keep pumping the brake but its only reaaaally quiet...

Would you recommend that i get this checked out? Braking performance seems normal but still this sound plays on my mind as I cant tell if its the norm or not.

Break fluid looks fine BTW

mine's always done it... so did my old punto and my cinq...

you have some air in the braking system go to a garage and tell them to take air from the system
