Hi

My boot wont open sometimes ! it is controlled on the key or in the car via the button but neither work. The lights just flash as if your locking it. The weird thing is it works sometimes then not others. This is very frustrating as when i load up my car with tools and get to a job and i cant open it at all! i also cant even see a way of opening it from the inside

i thought i would ask on here before i take another trip to the garage. A

Also my cigarette lighter doesnt work, any suggestions??

Thankss:)

thanks !

I would love to get a van but the insurance is sooo high. Ideally i would like to get a pickup but the insureance is like £3000 - £4000 ( more then the acually pickup is worth ) but im 19 which no noclaims.....been driving for 2 years but the insurance isnt worth the money !

Chances are on the cig lighter the fuse has blown, can you see any bits of metal in there/have you put any metal in there thats not supposed to go in there?

When i got my car (2nd hand) there was a 1p in the bottom :(

Hi there,

I've a similar problem on our 2008 Grande Punto 1.2. The tailgate will not operate on either the keyfob or the switch in the car. I've read the handbook to check the fuses. It says the tailgate fuse is behind the small 'oddments compartment' in the dashboard (to the lower right below the steering wheel) but I've taken that off and no fuses to be seen.

Any idea were the fuse is so I can check it? Presumably there is a solenoid somewhere in the boot which actuates when energised and moves the lock. Any idea where this is located.

Any help/advice appreciated. Thanks.
