Another problem but as soon as we get the car sorted I promise to post with some more positive stuff!

The radio in our 58 Eleganza is suffering from really bad radio reception, much much worse than any other car I've ever driven.

In anything but the very strongest signal areas it struggles to auto scan to almost any station. Once you store a station it then fades in and out as you drive making it almost impossible to listen to.

I mentioned it to the dealer the last time it was in and they said that they checked the aerial connection and that it was fine but the problem still persists.

I have a bad feeling that there is a break in the wiring between the aerial and the back of the radio which would be a right PITA to sort out. Before I drive myself mad does anyone have any ideas? :idea:
