See post #14. We've already said this may be the case (some ECU's can't be updated and need replacing with one that already has the update).

If Fiat are covering the costs, it shouldn't be a problem.

Still have this problem, despite a software upgrade last year before the car ran out warranty.

Now though i just tell the damn thing to shut up lol

I've had it for about the last 6months. I have just put up with it.. Thought
it might have been due to the battery being on its last legs.. its 4 years old.

just had my battery replaced and it is still displaying the same message have it booked into the dealership they no its a problem waiting for fiat to get back intouch

Probably needs a software update .

or ECU which is why I asked for vehicle details.

If i remember I think i had a new ECU. Could just look through the pages I suppose but you klnow..
