Here is the catch:

I never get the rough idle or hesitation when the outside temperature is below 10 degrees. Also the rough/lumpy idle disappears after driving for a few minutes and only reappears after the car has been sat for a while.

The hesitation never happens when i drive the car hard, only under slight throttle.

I have had this problem over the last two summers and have put up with it because it disappears in the winter. But now it is really starting to p**s me off. Any help would be much appreciated.

You getting the "coolant Temp exceeded" warning when you start at all ????
