Well just thought i would share my experience of replacing the brakes on my 2008 T-jet. Long story short got the car 3 months ago, already fed up with the service at Autoplanet Southampton. Took the car back to say i was fed up with the grating noises when turning and the sounds not do dis-similar to a penny farthing riding next to me when driving slowly. They said there was nothing wrong and the discs were in spec even though one was severely scored.
So got a quote for the parts from them £400! yeah right.
Found a company called Ruderacing who supplied EBC front and rear discs and pads and a caliper paint kit with brushes and cleaner for £190 delivered.

Did the job today started at 10:30 and was finished by 16:30. Heres some pics:

It went pretty well used a wire brush to remove most of the rust, its crazy how easily Fiat cars rust. Managed to do the rear calipers with pair of snipe nosed pliers and brute strength. Pretty pleased with the results.
Now just got to get the wheel nuts replaced next week. Fiat originally refused to replace under warranty but are now doing it as a good will gesture! Ha!
Will see if i can get some caps for them or get them powder coated.

Pics dont do the calipers justice they match the car really well and stand out nicely!
