I notice genuine Punto Evo mats can be found for £25 online where as Grande Punto mats are nearer £45, does anyone know if the evo mats fit the grande?

I assume that the floor pans of the two cars will be the same but I was wondering if some of the low level trim may have changed, any ideas?

I got my genuine punto mats from eBay for about £25, I much prefer the logo on the GP than the Evo though. But I guess it's not life changing.

Do they have fittings or do they just go straight in and lay there?

From what I have read the mats come with the fittings. You have to mark the carpet, make a hole, and 'screw' them in.

Mine came with velcro and that holds them in place perfectly well.

F*ck drilling holes into my floor..

If they are anything like Peugeot mats, the fixings are held by the carpet. they don't screw into metal floor below, hence the punctuation used around the term 'screw'.

Just to confirm (6 years later) that yes they fit. I bought ebay 'Punto Evo' mats and they fit perfectly in my 2007 GP!

I had the same doubts when my TA was new, so on the 2nd day of ownership went to a forum / Midlands Italia meet where I test fitted the mats of Wisey 's white GP

VERY little has changed over the 10 years of GP's in the UK, even the inherent faults are still there .. not great on a @£16k car..
