The battery light now comes on after about 30-40 sec, after I start my GP. The alternator charges at about 11, but 13 is needed? Would it still be worth checking all the connections etc, could a dodgy connection cause it to charge less? The car was left for 3 months (extended holiday) and after the first drive this happened, what a welcome back present...
I think the alternator needs to be changed, I have been looking for a reconditioned one but have struggled to find much on the net about it. Anyone have an idea of how much and where I can source one?
