i've got these bulbs in atm, i would definitely recommend if you're looking for a cheap xenon look :) comes free with sidelight bulbs as well.

Osram nightbreakers are pretty good, I had them on my car for over a year with no problems. Gave a good blue/white light and lit the road up much better.

Think I got them from Consumabulbs, and I also got a free set of blue sidelights. £18 delivered or so (2 years ago)

LED sidelights wont work, unless you install a resistor into the circuit.

I use Halfords own brand 90% excellence bulbs, some cheap crappy white £1.99 to take the yellow out and also use silver indicator bulbs that flash yellow.

And this is the result:
:eadlights

Sidelights

Yeah, they're brilliant white, make a huge difference and the flare in the pics is just the dodgy camera, the beam pattern is perfect.

Unlike HID's they didn't cost hundreds and I didn't have to buy new projector style headlights.

i havent got projector headlights and mine are very bright :D

You do realise you can't fit HID's to the standard GP headlights, not only is it an MOT fail due to the beam pattern screwing up (therefore illegal) but its a nuisance to other road users as your just dazzling them.

Just because they look bright doesn't mean they're good.

i realise the legal bit but my local fiat garage said they would sort the beam for me and then as long as everything else is ok at mot time they will pass it

I've got the 90% ones but dont look like that on side lights

The 90% brilliance bulbs are main / dipped beam, they have no effect on your sidelights, they're a different bulb.

The sidelight bulbs are yellow as standard, the halfords headlight bulbs are white so I just brought some cheap white bulbs off eBay to take the yellow colour out of the beam.

Hid's. i fitted mine last week. lighting is perfect and no scatter on mine. the concealed reflector keeps it pretty straight on road and then i just levelled them down so there not annoying anyone. well happy with them
