Helllo again,
I've had a quick search and can't find my answer.
Basically, I am doing most of my upcoming service myself but when odering the Filter Kit from shop4parts it gives me two options of oil filter. One is manufacterd by MANN and the other by UFI, the prices are pretty much the same but I can't figure out why there are two types. Is one better than the other? Are they a decent product? I have looked on elearn and it doesn't state a difference in size or performance of oil filters. So which should I choose?
Thanks
Adam

... Well, I was in General Traffic earlier and pretty much EVERYTHING except the Cambelt kit came out cheaper than Shop4Parts, buypartsby and Euro car parts.

So, I bought most of the kit from there including the oil filter. There was no option of which one I wanted so the one I've got I will have to see if it will fit :/ is there a way of checking before actually doing the oil change? dimensions or anything?
If it's wrong I may have to put the old filter in untill I get a correct one :/ will try rinse the filter out in clean oil before it goes back in though if thats the case.

Edit: The filter I have is an ADL Blueprint and the codes are... ADA102109, FUDJ13 will go check their site now

... It's this one http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m30b880s2942p40993

Thats the MANN housing filter which I think is fitted to the non-DPF cars.

If its one without solid plastic ends you'll probably find your old one has done this too :).
