While travelling at speed on the way home my GP decided the entire scuttle panel was no longer needed so its on the A41 somewhere, ive still got some warranty from the dealer i got it from is this something i can claim for? or how much is it likely to cost from a dealer as i need a new one asap as i now have no water jetc ill go tomorow at lunch to see what the damage is

1st or 2nd year warranty - yes
3rd year/dealer warranty - possibly

how did it come off?

you loose the wiper arms as well

oh you mean the bonnet trim

from memory (for what that is worth) they are about £20 a side (its in two bits) you loose the washer jets as well? they are about £6 each and come with hose

you should have two m6 10mm headed nuts at each end on the underside of the bonnet the top of the T headed bolt can be discarded as the new trim comes with it fitted from memory

i thought the wiper arm had come off, but no just the plastic panel ripped off in one straight over the roof and ripped the hoses out the washer jets, its too dark now but i think there were some sheered plastic clips still left in the bonnet
