General how many miles from a tank are you getting

My fingers and toes are crossed for that other i got a lot of hassel coming my way, on a lighter note now i am more confident with the engine i will be getting a tuning box for it in a month see if i can get it up to 150 bhp i would be happy with that.

hi all i cant believe that people are getting so many miles i dont think i have ever got more that 390 to a tank i drive 16 miles to work and back every day and the occasional run into town!! i will put a computer on to the car and see what it brings to light.. i will have a look for this maf sensor because i dont thnk the car has been right for some time im just about to fill the car up i am into the light now want to give it one last chance to shine!!! thankyou for your posts i will update as i know!!

That's because there is nothing wrong with it i only average about 400 miles a tank to unless the car is living on a motorway for the entire tank. Lots of ppl on here only get that to, the ppl that say they are getting 48 to the gallon around town must be driving like granneys m8. If you gonna drive like that whats the point in buying a quickish car just buy a 1L city car that will achieve that all day every day round town.

See when the petrol light comes on, is there still 10L left in the tank? I always fill up when it comes on but I can never fill more than 35L. The book says it's a 45L tank, but isn't the light coming on when there's still 10L left a bit panicky?

when they start pointing it at me I tend to get as many miles away from it as possible...

i have the 1.2 8v

im lucky to get 30mpg out of her most of the time, i dont have a heavy foot, she is treat well and still poor economy.

i had an MG zr that did more to the gallon when i was been hammered!

most of the driving i do is motorway too... when it gets to even the slighted incline it really struggles like crazy,

the missus has a mk2 1.2 8v and her car just pulls like crazy! and she is hitting over 40mpg! im gutted!

i used to have a 147 2.0ts and got 350 everytime hammered all the time and that had the same size tank i just cant believe how juicy a little car can be!!

I'm getting about 300 to a tank at an indicated 36mpg from my TJet. Pretty much all city driving, changing gear at 2000rpm. Dunno whether that is good or not...

If ya go on to indecated mgp on the menu it will give you a real time idea of what you need to do to get the best out of your engine and you can see what your mpg goes down to when you boot it.
