ok, i come out of work, and my headlights are on, i know my lights are of, and my rears are off to. when i get in car sure enough light switch is off. engine starts ok, so it hadn't drained battery. i filled up with diesel on way home, and again is switched off lights and engine, took keys with me. my headlights were on for about 5 minutes, but then just turned off. when i get home i figure im going to call aa, let them look at it tonight, and im at fiat having other work done, they can sort it. but when i get home, they are fine, turn off when there meant to as if nothing is wrong.
but something got to be wrong hasnt it? anyone know what it could be?
Cheers all :)

the body computer unit (which controls the lights) is in exactly that location along with a smaller fuse box

(behind that cover)

for the record the engine bay fuse box is behind the passenger side (uk) headlamp

lol, i was in warwick today, and the a43 was closed on the way home, making a 2hour journey 3 and a half hours. i was wishing all the way home my lights decided to either not work suddenly, or put main beams on without me being able to turn it off. strange how its fine now though. do you reckon that could be it, or am i to ecpect more problems? as long as it makes its mind up by march before 2nd year warranty runs out i dont mind lmao

Hello
I have read the problem you have been having because my sons 2006 GP is having problems where the headlights wont turn off and the horn is on all the time .Did you sort out what your problem was
thanks

Hi there. I have the same problem- the horn is on all the way while driving and the headlights come on by themselves when the car is completely off draining the battery. I've taken the headlights fuses out and they still come on. Weird as it sounds. Any ideas how can I solve this problem ??? Thanks guys
