Just turned my engine on to go home from my girlfriends and there was a really loud, bassy and burble sound coming from under the Bonnet. Anyone had this problem or know what it could be?

This turned out to be a crack the flexible bit of tubing after the manifold. I bottomed out my car the other day and cracked it. Cost me a rennet to get repaired.
