am having start problems with MAP sensor i think
takes up to 12 times to start
once warm starts first time
revs go up and drop off
mpg has dropped from 40 to 34

anyone else had same symptoms and cured with a new sensor

Does that seem reasonable ?
Aim to collect and fit tomorrow.
Will update forum.

I managed to pick an after market one up on ebay for about £30

Managed to get one for £45 as friend had a friend that worked at part dealer.

3 hours stood tonight and started first time so fingers crossed.

Big test in the morning !!

Just an update following the christmas break.
Fit new map sensor which took less than half an hour.
Car now starts forst time every time and MPG has gonr back up to 40+
