I didn't get this sorted last year. Deffinatley gettingit sorted thie year, just emailed my dealer to see if they have the part.

Thanks for the advice in this thread guys. I've fitted the new drain pipe but when testing with a bottle of water I noticed a lot of water draining out further to the O/S. It's not going on the alternator but the soundproofing/heatproofing at the back of the engine bay is completely soaking, so much so it ripped apart like paper.

Is there an online supplier I could get the modified drain sleeve from?
After a cracked alternator casing at just 20k miles, it's time I sort this out. But I really don't want to go to my local Fiat dealer, they usually don't stock anything and they'll just rip me off.

Sorry to bring this up from the dead; but is there a guide for fitting this?

I bought the part for my '06 1.3, but can't find where it fits either, although rain doesn't seem to fall on my alternator (I guessed diesels must just be different designs). Unless someone can show where it fits on the 1.3, want my modified hose that's currently sitting there doing nothing? (that's what I say to all the girls :p )

Appreciate the offer, however I have already got the part; just need to fit it now!

it the new one should be fitted so the bend is to the passenger side

Hi Andy,

Thank you for the video, however i am actually enquiring as to how to fit the hose itself?

Cheers,
Neenan

Cheers Andy, i did think that too, however the guys at the Fiat Dealership i went to told me it would be a case of removing the wiper arms and the panel above the bonnet...
