its only £199 for a remap and rolling road before/after session, and the cars set up perfect when you drive away ....

I have been quoted £300 for a custom map, so a tuning box for £100 is a bargin compaired to that.

one of the guys on Fiat scotland from dundee has a TMC box on his bravo and hes very happy with it, he even offered me a shot of it next time I'm down his way.

I just feel that if the mechanics at my dealer decided to wipe my ECU while under warranty I would be totally gutted!;)

I ordered one from Daron last Friday. Got it on offer after sending him a PM so imagine he will still do a deal? Cant hurt to try.

Getting impatient waiting for it to arrive now though!! Stupid weather!!:bang:

I'm having the same problems, I'm awaiting stock arriving from the factory and its delayed and I have a bunch of customers here and abroad hoping for delivery before the end Dec which is looking less and less likely, even if I get units posted out they don't get beyond the airport.

Oh dear! I'll kurb my enthusiasm until the new year then mate. Cheers Daron.

Haha, I could get a speedboat over, and ski the rest. Or I could sit in my warm house waiting on the postman to bring it.

Im away on holiday on the 27th for a week so il order some point after then.

Well my Box arrived yesterday Daron. Will be fitting it and testing later today.

Good news, don't forget to adjust it inside using the diagram, don't go mad though take it up in steps and if it feels too strong take it back a little.

Look forward to hearing results.

Cheers

Daron.

The bhp gains you have stated are quite impressive. Does the tuning box come configured to achieve these gains. If so does that mean you can turn it up higher to get more.

Cheers,

Mr L

Daron,

Box Fitted! Im not sure my fingers will ever forgive me for the torture I have just put them through.....-3 and not much space to work in was savage!:p

Overall the installation was easy. I looked on the web for the pressure sensor location before I started so knew which it was. Unplugging it was the tricky part as its tucked away and was tightly connected but once I got it off was simple to attatch the box. Tidied up the cables with cable ties and secured the box to the plate the battery sits on. Only took 10 minutes or so.

First impressions are positive. Boost seems to be more readily available at lower revs and the delivery is much smoother rather than in one big lump. 2nd and 3rd gear are now great fun. Stick your foot down and your away! I'm now worried any gains in economy will be wiped out by the fact that ill spend all my time hooning around in 3rd!!(y)

Once the weather and conditions outside have improved I will do a bit of testing and increase the setting on the box, see how it feels and provide some feedback. Chuck in a Performance panel filter in the new year (Probably a BMC one) and I think I will be set.

Cheers

Yea im with you steve. And can some one just tell me straight, why should i spend £100 on a tmc tuning box, instead of paying £60 for this one?: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Chip-tuning-D...CarParts_SM&hash=item3363118eaa#ht_5657wt_907

I bought from TMC because of feedback on here and also because they are a trader on here aswel as having a representative regularly posting on this board. Look at the feedback for the company on the link, usually selling USB sticks and iPhone accessories whereas tuning boxes are what TMC do. That has got resistor in a box written all over it to me! Just my opinion of course.
