Hi All,

I have just bought a grande punto 1.2 second hand for my wife to learn to drive in and I just have two questions. 1, Is the power steering servicable as it has a slight groaning/almost like a crunch noise when turned to full lock, once at full lock it stops. is this normal?

2 Where would I get a new airbox for it as the last owner was a yound lass who has put a daft K&N air filter on it and I would rather have the original filter back.

1) depends how bad it is, this can be a sign of faulty column especially if the steering wheel turns by itself when stationary.

2) airbox is £108, try ebay/scrapyard

The steering wheel doesn't turn by it's self when stationary but it only makes the noise when stationary.

I'll try some breakers yards as i'm not that fussed to pay over £100.
