hey guys I was driving along in the t-jet the other day and I suddenly realized that the creamy coloured headlining and bits of trim would look so much better if they were black. I have the skydome roof fitted and wondered if it would be a simple job to make it black along with all the creamy bits of trim. would be a simple job of paininting the bits of trim and dying the headlining?

Puntomatt done this with his car using faux suede, and it looks really good. I was gonna do it aswell and cover the trim in the suede aswell. However I never got round to doing it. I think its shown on his car thread.

Ideally I want to keep it relativley cheap (but you get what you pay for I suppose) and as standard as possible I thought dying the standard headligning would be an option then just taking the bits of trim i wanted to paint out.... but then again thinking about stuff like this always seems simpler lol

sorted lol as soon as summer arrives think this plan will go into action.... also I might carbon wrap the dash while I'm at it :)

wasn't thinking the whole dash lol just the grey bit that comes from the pass side round the headunit and over to the steering column.... suede wrapping the steering wheel seems like an agonising task but I'll delve into a bit of researching

ive done all of mine with the stuff puntomatt used, but its no good, i then got put onto a company called MARTRIM they do lining material of all typs and colour, i got black foam backed nylon, the thin layer of foam makes it easier to apply and a smooth, strong, tough finish....i can tke pics of mine if u want

that would be awesome.... how much did all that set you back.... like taking it to a interiour trimming place and getting someone to do the work for you??

got some pics of it on my profile but i got skydome and black roof lining, wasn't too bad to do, need a good day or two did the roof lining in one and the ABC pillar trims the next found C the hardest, just take your time and will be fine, rushed one of mine and looked awful had to re do it
