Hi all
I was browsing the web the other day and saw that demon Tweeks sell an upper strut brace for the diesel grande
Are the mounts and distance between them the same on the diesel as the ones on the 1.2 8v ???
I'm sure it will be just wanna make sure
Also will it fit in the engine bay as I have a GSR fitted???
Cheers Matt

Never personally done one but seen a couple fitted. think you just need jack the car up, undo the top mounts, put the strut brace in (do you have to drill the chassis top? or just secure them with the top mounts?) and then tighten everything back up. I'm sure someone will be along who has done one to tell you the correct way :)

taybarns christmas meal? which one? what area I mean. I suppose I should just look at the thread haha. and as for the strut brace you posted.. that actually is a strut brace and not the body brace posted before. :) dunno if that picture is of it actually fitted to a GP though. I would want to see proof tbh

Yeah the omp strut brace doesnt connect to the struts because they are right underneath the windscreen behind the platic bits.

Does the strut brace not do almost ths same thing as the forge subframe braces ? Ie harden/sharpen/tighten up the front suspension ? I have them fitted and the difference is instantly noticeable. Just can't see them like you would a strut brace but they cost around half the price :)
