Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone could help at all with my problem. I was out in my car the other day & stopped out my friends house for about 10-15mins & noticed the water temperature was going up & the fan didn't turn on. Just to make sure I left the car to idle again today the water temp when up but the fan still didn't kick in.
Ive checked all the fuses that I could find on the elearn manuel but there fine & for relays well I couldnt get them out but theres two for each speed it runs at, so surely both of them haven't gone?
So what could it be?

could be the thermostate, take it out and drop it in some boiling water and see if it opens

I dont think it has I thermostat as its ecu controlled.

Edit: Plus its the fan not working not the actual system.

if its ecu controlled then maybe a faulty sensor

Yeah could be, im trying to find the thermo switch but I dont think it has one :s

There is a fan control resistor switch somewhere near the coolant tank.

... and of course, you've checked you have plenty of coolant...

I couldnt find the switch its in the garage now.

Yeah lol

I got my car back today, it was a faulty resistor switch in the end, but im glad to have it sorted.

Still not to sure but i think its actually in the fan motor.
