sorry if this has been covered before, coudt find ananswer for this though, iv been ofered brand new eibachs at a good price, however they are for the 1.2 and not sure if they wil take the weight of my heavy 1.3 diesel?

AFAIK the 1.2 springs are not suitable, they have a different part number and weight limit.
is saving a few quid buying the wrong ones, more important than your safety? buy the right ones mate then you know everything will be ok

i thought they might not be, and didnt think it would be safe to do. never mind, im liking the look of those magnetti marrellis, i may get those ones
