Technical Turbo boost leak

Hi Chaps long time no post The GP130MJ has racked up just over 66,000 miles trouble free largely until this weekend just gone! Was driving the car all day on my way home I was driving very briskly down the lanes and on a couple of occasions the plastic engine undertray scrapped on the ground due top typically rough country lanes and a little to much haste on my part

Anyway this ground out has happened a few time before. Now I have not had a chance to have a proper look but I have boost leak in a serious way the car now sounds like a jet plane when you rev it or drive down the road anything other than resting your foot onm the throttle and driving in a Gently Bentley fashion.

Now just after the last ground out was when the boost leak began. Has anyone experience boost pipe leaks on thier GP MJ130?? I am presuming either a pipe has split or a clips snapped or loose I do need to check just a though are there any boost pipes that run under the engine of these?

hi si ihad the same happen too me!! bloody ebach springs lol
anyway all i had too do was,remove undertray remove the split end off the boost pipe(about 1.5inch)slam it back on the intercooler wiv a jubilee clip!!! jobs a ggod one no more jet plane under the bonnet!!

mine did the same, the problem pipe is the one that comes off bottom of turbo and into intercooler(drivers side of bay)you can easily see it if you remove undertray, there is NO pipes under the engine for the intercooler, the pipe im talking about isnt as low as the sump....

its like an L shaped rubber pipe, which clearly is made of cheese as mine had gone all soggy , like oil had rotted it away, we need ALEXH365 to take his off , measure it up, and fine a fluro lined silicone hose to upgrade it with!

think even alex himself had a boost leak....
