I have a 65 plate Fiat Punto that has now had the driver's side window stop going down. If I pull the switch back (like I'm wanting to put it up) I hear a click like the motor is trying to engage but won't because the window is already up. It's slightly annoying because it had a slight electrical issue that I managed to slip through on warranty, but that ended in September 2018.
I was tempted to say to them that they were the last ones to fiddle with the electronics and the issue only began to happen (intermittently before becoming permanent) following them looking at it to see what they would do, particularly as the USB port now won't charge a phone either, another fault that has only developed since they looked at the electrics. What does everybody think? I'm going to give the turn the ignition on and open the door a try shortly to see if that solves the problem.
