Hi,

Sorry bit of a newbie question.

Does anyone know whether 17" Abarth alloys will fit on my Grande Punto without any modification, lowering etc?

Thanks in advance

Why did you sell if you don't mind me asking? Did you try them out and if so what was the ride like?

i got skint lmao , and i got them for a good price so made a profit on them lol. i only drove them for a weekend literally around local town, and to be honest in terms of drivability i couldnt tell a difference, but i didnt get a chance to go an open her up with them on for a good bit.

theyll be fine fitment wise and its either spacers or lowering springs if you want to complete the look, the tyres that usually come with them are 10mm each side wider as standard so adding the spacers as i found out makes the rear arch rub down on the tyres when the spring compresses

but also they are heavier so technically performance is slightly reduced, and as tom says on a smaller engine you might have increased wear on the gearbox

I bought the wheels off you, and you got them cheap and made a profit from me!

Anyway, I sold them on aswell….and also made a profit!!

it was you? i cant remember if i sold them on here, or on ebay lol.
if its any consolation, it was only 50quid profit :) how much u make can i ask?, how come you sold them on then? 4 owners they have had now lmao :D
I sprayed them with turtle wax alloy cleaners, which is usually very good, but i couldn't get rid of those small tar spots on them. where are they now? Scotland still or back in england? lol.

I sold them as I bought a go kart and needed money towards my engine. They sat in my garage the entire time.

I only made £20 on them, but still. I was only looking to make my money back.

Alloys are back in England…maybe come to Scotland again if and when they are re-sold.
