How to covert the wiring.

Copied from the grandepuntoclub forum:

a big screwdriver to unscrew the two screws of lighthouses
a small screwdriver to pry the connector links
a resistor 20W 6 ohm or from 50 watt 15ohm battleship (warms less)
a cookie cutter
Optional:
a welder to pond
two wires length that we want
PREPARATION:
First we must open the trunk and disconnect the negative battery
dismantle them our headlights and we will face to our dear original connector, now the guide is divided into two parts:
1) side guide lighthouse
2) Lighthouse passenger side
Let's start with the simplest ... il faro side Guide
We take our original connector ... and with the crop we cut away the lateral pins that serve as guides to plug the connector into the lighthouse (this will serve to plug the connector into the lighthouse new ....)
After doing this simple task we take and the yellow black cable (which are mass and positions) and section spelliamo them stripped we connect the resistances (we can also use visa extension cables as very tight spaces and then welded all Tin safety ...) after everything with tape cover mount points for safety ... now we take the connector and the link to the lighthouse ... How do you say? simply rotate 180 ° connector than as we find in the gp and insert and we close the lighthouse
Here are the photos of how we should keep the connector and the rear part of the lighthouse (in my Lighthouse you will see a leg bent, this is something not do… but at least you see which leg is unused)

here a picture of the resistance mounted where to see the insulation tape red under there are linked and welded wires ... (for those who don't know to link two wires to be both and spelarli attorcigliargli copper between two wires ... then for security and if you got it using a welder to pond and the strain a small amount of Tin links to not let them divide ... and between wire and wire resistance using the kink resistance to copper wire and with a bit of pond you solder it passes over the whole tape to isolate the whole and not to come in contact with other wires with the bodywork)

Now we move to the lighthouse passenger side ...
After you have dismantled the lighthouse of gp and having cut the part of the connector that would prevent us from its inclusion in the lighthouse as in the other side ... we have to remove the black wire connector (the mass) to get an accurate we use a small screwdriver to release the cable from the connector ... we take bi adhesive tape around the pass and connector on the left side of the connector (where we find the yellow/black) the mass we appiccichimo nastriamo well and so we fix the connector:

Now we connect the connector amended in this way to the lighthouse of evo ... and look back everything ...
Now we have the headlights of the evo on our gp functional and without spies on your dashboard failure position lamps .

Translation isnt too great but you get the drift.

Why would you want to make your punto look like a punto evo which is less good looking than the original car.

Why not slightly modify your car with grande punto sporting alloys, side skirts etc
