I will apologies now for the lack of photos on this thread..... but its a simple thing and hopefully it will help anyone wanting it!

You will need
- spray on primer
- custom colour brake disk paint (halfords is good)
- a small and a medium paint brush
- a large cloth (big enough to cover the brake disk)
- drill with wire brush attachment or a wire brush...... anything wire
- oven cleaner

2 coats of primer
2 coats of calliper paint

firstly jack your car up and remove both front wheels, this will allow you to make a start on one calliper while the other one is drying.

using a wire brush on a drill or with your hand rub the calliper down until all rust and brake dust is remove. you will no when this is done because the calliper will be a little smoother than when you started, the smoother the better (you will not be able to get it totally smooth)

next spray oven cleaner on the callipers and leave for reccomended time on the bottle the simply wipe off. this will just clean the bits you may have missed.

once the calliper is clean and the oven cleaner has dried off put the cloth over the disk, wedging the cloth behind the brake pads leaving just the calliper on display and the disk fully covered. This is just to stop the disk from getting any paint on it but dont worry if you do it wont damage the car.

Next you will spray on the primer, not in one constant blast but in short, one direction blasts, for instants try to do it in strips untill the calliper is fully and EVENLY covered

leave to dry for around 20 mins, whilst this is drying you can repeat this process on the other calliper! after 20 mins apply another coat of primer repeating the process above.

leave the primer until dry. I would reccomend around 30 mins to ensure it is totally dry. The primer is used to make the calliper smooth and even so the paint goes on alot better for a smooth finish, it also allows the paint to stick better!

once primer is set, with the medium paint brush apply the calliper paint generously making sure it is evenly spread and no drip marks for a smoother finish.
using the smaller brush to get into the hard to reach parts so everything is covered

leave to dry for around 40 mins then repeat this process, again making sure that it is evenly spread for a smoother finish.

once you have done both the front callipers you can put the wheels back on (they wont touch the callipers) and move onto doing the back wheels repated this full process

leave overnight for the paint to properly dry. you will find that as the paint dries the final, stronger colour will come through.

if you feel that the callipers will need another coat then wait a minimum of 8 hours (overnight) then give one more coat and again leave 8 hours to ensure fully dried before you drive so that no dust or dirt gets on the callipers.

i hope this helps anyone and any questions dont hesiate!!
