Bearing in mind it's a 1.2, I personally wouldn't bother, hub adaptors are not cheap (easily £200 for both axles) and combine them with a set of alloys are going to add a lot of weight for that little engine to try and push.
I agree. Better off with smaller set.

Brother had 17"s on his 1.2 corsa and they were more bother than they were worth.

Generally these hub adapters are used for extravagant designs, like fitting porsche wheels etc, bearing in mind Jamie's is a 1.2 and his manages fine, what wheels you looking at? if your looking at this style try lowering the size of the alloy say to a 16", and take the savings to put towards a decent set of coilys and balance it out by lowering it (y)

So would 16"s look okay with eibach sportlines I brought theses to fit when I got new alloys!

Im not 100% sure, I think it will look good, if you have them now, why dont you have them fitted now, cant harm closing the gap on the 15's, and see in comparison if it will suit 16s.

The 16's I have seen are wheels like borbets etc, generally euro style GP's like Jamie's where they are slammed and having the 16's its balanced out nicely and fits the style intended.

He's also had at least 1 replacement gearbox.

If you enjoy driving your car fast it's something I'd avoid tbh.

borbet a's up to 16" are 4 stud as an example

now i understand what et is but would like to know what would suit a car which has had hub adapting spacers so iirc the standard is et40 on grande so with spacers a wheel with a higher offset would be better? eg 42-45? or does it need to go lower 38?

sorry for the hijack
