Long time no post.. hope everyone's well

I have a MY07 GP 1.4 8v and always drive with loud music on; only noticed yesterday when I turned it down that when I'm turning hard left there's a knocking noise.

If I'm at a standstill and just keep turning the steering wheel left I would hear the knocking too.

(Doesn't happen when I turn right)

I tried driving in an anti-clockwise circle and couldn't hear a rattling noise so hopefully its not the CV joint.

Any ideas anyone? Thanks~

Hiya cobber... long time no hear...

In the absence of any other suggestions I'd take a look at the wheel arch liner on that side, see if the tyre is catching it on a hard full lock turn. If thats OK I'd suspect the LHS spring, its top mount, steering rack, wishbone bushes or drop link. Needs an inspection really.
