Switched the engine on last night followed by the lights and got a warning message on the dash 'check running lights' running lights on a GP?

So i got out checked all the lights and yep they're all working, got back in the car and the message had disappeared.

Anyone seen this before? the GP's don't have running lights.

I hope the Fiat electric gremlins aren't beginning to creep in lol

I get that everytime i switch on but ive got different bulbs in mine, although they work i just think it trips the system abit. you had to change any bulbs recently? including ya lisence plate ones?

mine says "check numberplate light" when one of them has gone

it could be one of the rear tail lamps, it said running lights when one of them went

my front side light wasn't in properly so it would flag a warning, then if you hit the headlight with the palm of your hand the sidelight would come on and the message would dissappear. now however, I know I have a rear sidelight out (the top one of the 2 on the passenger side) thanks to "follow me lights" but I haven't got a warning :s is that because I techinically still have a sidelight lit on the light and only the stop and tail one has gone?

Hiya Payney, it will be something with one of the sidelight bulbs or holders in the rear light clusters, I had that, both bulbs went so all appeared OK at a glance... get each bulb out & check them, replace any blown bulbs with exactly the right wattage though...

Definately the side lights. Mine used to do it time ago and every now and then the side light would just stop working, and other times would be fine. Its never done it again since I had my front end crash, so as said, check they are securely in, and for any loose connections.
