so your saying the high level light comes on permanently?
hi yes as soon as i connect it up its on few of the leds are blown about 4 are still working when i press brake peddle the left and right brake lights work fine just the centre one is on permantly with out touching brake peddle hope you can be of help many thanks andy

im not sure how the brake light circuit works however i am going to stick my neck out and guess it works by the brake pedal grounding the circuit

i would check the rubber gland where the cables go to the boot on the upper left of the boot lid pop it off and check for any chafing the live comes direct from the body computer and the ground connection is behind the plastic boot trim which runs across the back of the car in the lower left corner (passenger side)
