While it was in for service I had the steering/suspension looked at.
A knocking noise on the first movement right or left of the steering wheel.

It's cured by a tightening of the 'drop links'.

Anyone else had this.....

We've just had some of the most severe speed humps installed on the enterance to the works car park, could this be a cause?

The car is only 10 months old with 5K miles

possibly, on my stilo had to change droplinks every other year as they would go/rattle after awhile, once they were tightened up they didnt last long another 3/6 months before the annoying rattle would come back.

There a servicable item, not expensive a bout £10/15 each and 5minute to change. Need to change mine as they are starting to rattle on ruffer surfaces. Lasted much longer than on the stilo. I know that doesn't directly answer your question. Monitor it but if they start rattling again ask for them to be replace under your 1st year warrenty (y)

ive had mine replace 4 times now and it just started to rattle badly today :bang: only seems to happen when i have passengers in the back though
