£4 for cover, reason it fell off was because it was incorrectly removed previously.

new egr valve already,

car is 3 years old which is around time they are often removed (mines original after 5 years) surely garage will sort this under 1 / 3 months guarantee.

brake pad lights

wire broken after pads changed no doubt, seen this alot.

glow plug lights

lights?

radiator too hot light or check radiator,

you mean radiant? (charge battery or car will do this after been driven for a while) theres no sensor of any kind to check radiator.

Nothing to do with us or Fiat, these faults are all easily rectified by the garage that sold you the car. Did you get an independent inspection on the vehicle?

yeah dealer did egr, glow plug light came on while driving and said check glow plugs, but it starts fine etc, brakes need doing ther quite rubbish, im just gonna take it back to him to sort, im purely wondering if were one of the unlucky ones with a fiat and if we shud sell it on or chance it and it proves to be ok,

the cars great drives nice very comfortable etc just think thers going to be never ending probs after this in 2 weeks,

cheers

i have had a brand new car every year for the the last 11 years, the only one ever that had no teething problems was a focus. and they are usually problem cars....

this car was a nightmare untill all the niggles were sorted, now they have been its super, and also the first year i havent bothered changing for a new plate. (recession and being broke this year are not the reason honestly) so in summing up, duff up the dealer and all will be fine;)

small dealer that gave 28days warranty

then use it to its maximum and your satisfaction.

unfortunally (as is the case with all dealerships/garages) the cars cannot be checked fully 100%, time is money and its profit the sales department dont wont to fork out. There is a budget allocated to the refurbishment of used cars which is usually minimal...one reason i'd never buy secondhand from garage although on the flip side you do need to remember the car is used and there might well be little faults but not safety related...makes me laugh how many ownersmoan about small scratches, cars 3 years old for f*cks sake:rolleyes:

Who would buy any car based on what the Forum members say anyway?

ALWAYS get an independent view....

Personally my GPS has given me far more fun & reliability than I expected.

I gotta side with the Big F on this one. If you want an unbiased opnion its no good asking the question in what is essentialy an enthusiasts forum.

Had you gone to a Fiesta/Corsa/Polo/Ibiza/MINI/Clio/C3/Swift/207/ etc etc etc forum and asked the question should I buy one they would all have said yes too (y)

Independent assessor to look at the car you mean? Nothing wrong with asking here as we drive these cars daily so best people to ask.
