Tuning 1.2 GP Ugrading torque or BHP

It's between the golf r32 and the punto abarth essesse depends on competitive finance

R32's and Abarth SS are both waste of money. R32's at santa pod run 15 seconds which is dog ****e. Abarth's are basically a fiat. So you may aswell buy like a clio 172 or fiesta ST. Both can be ripped apart and parts changed. Take the ST, and take off the manifold and swap it for a cosworth manifold and you can acheive figures of over 200bhp, all froma different manifold. And also add a milltek exhaust and you've got a rapid car.

It's an ST though :(

It's not all about speed it's about looks and rarity. Everyone has an st. Oh and there not sh*t at all if I wanted a crazy track car i'd save for a Nissan gtr or something.

I've been thinking about that for a while! But 1 my insurance company would rape me 2 it would probably cost more than any new car I want to get 3 the sell on in comparison to what iv put in it would be terrible :( it is so tempting though I would love to do that as it's my hobby to rip apart my cars and upgrade them but it's a shame because of all those factors. I might have words with jamie and see how much his 1.2 now gives out, he's done an insane job on his car!

ah yes, but, not that im suggesting this, but if its rebored, the outside looks the same, and its hard to see if its been rebored, so the insurance company, and maybe even fiat woudn't know. (i think i may be in trouble now for suggesting that :)) rebores are around a hundred pounds, its what injectors you buy that can make it expensive.
also before you sell it, if you did all that, justtake all mod items off, sell caras stck (apart from rebore cant be reversed) and sell all mods as they wil be worth more off the car. jamie, he he one with the blak gp and white strip across front isnt he?

Yeah he is, n you sound like a right dodgy geezer lol! Glad I'm not buying my car of you :p it's not worth it to me doing under the table engine mods and always looking over my shoulder, il stick to the abarth or the r32

na, im not dodgy, youd tell that it has been previously modded, but now back to standard. otherwise you can get in all sorts of trouble.
you consedered the mito cloverleaf or gta? there very quick cars to :)

You seem really against the r32 and the abarth :( what's wrong with them?

who me? no! honestly i love the abarth!!, if i could afford the petrol costs id trade my gp in for an abarth now :yum:, but i do way to many miles commuting :(. i dont know anything about the r32, so cant really comment on them tbh. it was just i was reading up on the alfa cloverleafs this morning, and seeing as they are owned by fiat, and was fresh in my mind when i posted, so wondered if you had seen them. alfas have always been nice cars to :).
which are you swinging to, abarth or r32? i think r32 is quicker isn't it?

Yeah mate it's much quicker buy the abarth is much rarer and has better looks :)

u thinking of abarth then? i travel 180 miles a day, and i dont see many r32's but iv only ever seen 3 or 4 abarth grande puntos on the road. its a real head turner, whereas the r32, in my opinion looks not much different from the gti, or the normal golf. but i dont know anything about golfs or any vw tbh lmao.
u getting abarth then? :yum:
is the r32 quicker than an abarth esessee? id love to see someone tune an abrth to the max :yum:

Ohhh mate if I get my hands on either they will look better and be faster than they are originally! The r32 is much much faster but has less exterior features that really get heads to turn if you know what I mean. I honestly will be happy with either one, atm I'm leaning more towards the r32 as the vw history is very very good, my mum had the golf gti mrk 5 edition 30 and it never failed, she now has a White Audi s3 10 plate the lucky b*tch lol. But yeah when I get my hands on either car you would think I'm made if I'm going to keep it standard :D

180 miles a day? Wow where do you go lol! I travel 50 miles there and back just for work and I thought that was bad! I'm guessing you have a diesel, it would be ridiculous to have a petrol car doing that sort of mileage

well, from next week its 120 miles a day so it wont be so bad.
i live near stamford and peterborough, and im on an aprenticeship, but the college is at leamington spa, takes 2 hours to get there!! lol. but from next week im finished at college, and my plant where il work is only 60 miles away and an hour and twenty minutes, so not so bad  lol.
yeah i priced up an abarth for fuel today, and doing 120 miles a day, il burn about 4ks worth of fuel!!!! thats not much under half my total yearly earnings!!!! lmao. 50 miles is ok for petrol id definately get one of those cars for that mileage!!. im doing upp my little 1.3 :D, not quite abarth and r32 but id be happy with 120/30 bhp lol. and itl feel like an achievemnt, as id have got it that quick my self lol.
talking of vw's id love the scirocoo 2 litre turbo :) great car. audi s10 is sweet to!! what engine she got in it?

Won't you get fuel expenses?

yeah mate that little 1.3 diesel is perfect for you, it's the smallest diesel engine you can get. She has an Audi s3 it's a 2litre turbo but f*ck me does it fly! It does 0-60 in 5.7 seconds! The sciroccos are gorgeous but sooo expensive to get a nice one :( what do you think of the ford focus st in White?
The good thing about diesels are they have a turbo in the so there so much easier to get some serious bhp out of them!

afraid not :( iv asked but they dont do it, and im the only one bar 2 others on my apprenticeship (23 of us) that travels, everyone else is at most 15 to 20 miles away.
but i enjoy it, and im thankful for a job, and i can go really far with it, in a lot of directions (not trying to boast in any way), so to be honest i dont mind to much, and i enjoy driving :) when im not stuck behind a lorry or in traffic on the single roads :bang:
