i have a gsr on my 1.2. im sure they sell them made for 1.2s, although mine was from a 1.4 8v and fits fine.

Most of that looks ok..but the Christmas fairy lights strung along the front grill are 10-10 chavtastic...al least have them mounted on something and evenly spread out...

The 1.9's an M-Jet ; p theres my input !

Although I do say, Save your money for second car. I had the 1.2 as a first car and swapped it for this in my second year of driving . But yeah I agree on the 'Audi' Lights : O

I wudnt pay a fortune for an induction either, universal jobby £30 does exact same thing, i did tht on the clio, lovely sound ill do u a vid sounds better than paying £120 for a name

Not really, the GSR is specially made for the vehicle it goes onto, the silicone piping also is top quality i think its 5 ply 5mm thick walls designed to keep heat levels low, the universal ones come with plastic bendy bits and aluminium which doesn't help, but in response to that if put on a 1.2 is it needed anyway?

Go for a re-map if you want to its your money. I would say get a GSR aswell. Ive got both and im running 98bhp and 106nm torque. Not bad i thought for just those 2 little mods. Red Dot guys were very surprised, and thought i was lying and had a 1.4 block

Lol leave my Audi lights alone!!! I'm happy with them until I have the time to mount them on my fog lights

Currently waiting on 3 years no claims so I can get the abarth or a VXR astra but yeah now I see from everyones comments it's a complete waste of money to ugrade a 1.2 engine (y)

Maybe, but adamb's comment should give you some hope atleast. 98hp is not that bad at all. And it seems rather hard to believe that you can achieve so much with just GSR Induction kit and remap. :)

You've got a good point there I'd be happy with 98bhp :D

hi, saw in one of you pics, your car and about 4 other GPs, where abouts do you meet and anyone know of any GP owners around the sussex/surrey/kent area ??

We meet at beaconsfield, Reading and guilford cruises. you should come down sometime (y)

It's between the golf r32 and the punto abarth essesse depends on competitive finance

have you not thought about reboring your engine? not many people seem to do it, but performance returns can be great, maybeget a 1.4 t jet manifold and modify is so it will fit you 1.2, that way you can turbo your car, maybe abarth turbo and intercooler if you have alot of money. take the mid box off your gp, short shift gear box, gsr induction and then a remap to finish and you wont be far off, if not above the 130 target. bit of weight reduction to and you will have a rapid little car for what it was (y)

You think?? I reckon there both gorgeous cars! Alot of the r32's are much cheaper, but then again that's because you can get older ones :) well once I've sold my car il be taking both for a test drive, I have a funny feeling I'm gunna fall in love with the abarth :yum:

I've been thinking about that for a while! But 1 my insurance company would rape me 2 it would probably cost more than any new car I want to get 3 the sell on in comparison to what iv put in it would be terrible :( it is so tempting though I would love to do that as it's my hobby to rip apart my cars and upgrade them but it's a shame because of all those factors. I might have words with jamie and see how much his 1.2 now gives out, he's done an insane job on his car!
