So i was driving through wrexam town centre on stopped at a set of lights. Then the battery warning light came on and steering became solid and bearly moved. It returned to normal after a few yards of driving, but the light remained, the problem continued everytime I came to a standstill. any ideas???

right i had this on my gp 1.2 do you have anything conected straigt to your battery such as amp fog lights because i had amp fog lights straight of the battery all i did was got a bigger batery and it sorted the problem out just take something of your battery such as a amp and try it again and if its fine you know its the battery!;)

First check the alternator belt then get a voltage and alternator test done and take it from there

Cheers guys, will have it checked out. I don't have any amps or anything extra coming off it, so bit weird that is decided to happen randomly after no past issues. Went on the by-pass with it and the light goes off above a certain speed then comes back on when I drop below it. Wrexham is propably not at fault though.

What you had connected to it was probably irrelivent, was the fact your battery was USed and you then brought a new one (y)
