dont know dont care really, cant avoid this one is an insurance job :(

Annoying thing is its classed as "my fault" because the insurance company cant claim back of anyone else. so lose my no claims 5 years etc etc

How much is your excess, been looking at the damage just a need front bumper and light needed? May save you the money in the future if you do it yourself, if you take your 5 years away how much will the premium go up? Enough to cover the repair then you'll benifit it the long run.

Lol,

New bumper (painted)
New Light
New wing (painted and blended)
New intercooler
New Radiator
New splash Gaurd
New crossmember
New Wing brace
New horn
New hoses
New fornt panel
Wheel tracking
New Bonnet

the list goes on. Plus labour + VAT

Defo an insurance job.

You probably won't lose all 5 years ncb. You will probably be left with 2 or 3 years - depends on your insurer. Unless of course you paid extra to protect it.

At least your all right which is the main thing. I was in a car years ago when we hit a deer (on the A9 near Kingussie). Fortunately it just skiffed the front so all that was needed was popping out a small dent and getting a new badge.

That aint a good picture. Atleast your ok i guess.

Dont mean to sound like a dick, but where did you get your numberplate made up. Been after small ones like that for ages?

I lost my Punto Mk2 to a stampede of horses - totalled. `Strict liability' re owner - but the InsCo didn't want to chase it. Knocked back 2 yr NC.

.

Well, you probably wont belive it. The garage have classed my car as total loss. i.e. A write off. Words fail me. Have a look at the picture. how is that a write off?!?!

Sorry to hear about your crash - and the outcome of the garage report.

Things soon add up though - isn't it something like if the cost of the repairs exceed half the value of the car its classed as a write-off?

I know I had a bump in mine, and it needed: Bumper, bonnet, new wing, two new lights & two new lights and the cost was around £2500.
