Is there a kit to turn a Grand Punto into a van?

The GP has so many more options than the van. Surely you only need to take out the back seats and put in a new floor and partition? When looking at used vans, none of them has A/C never mind a Media player.

If no kit, then what are the part numbers for the bits required, or is there a company that specials in the conversion.

The reason for wanting one is for the missus, she has a Bus, sorry, a Red Multiwagon. She had a Punto van before but wanted A/C for the dogs but could not afford a new one with the A/C option. No vans were available with A/C so she went for the Stilo Multi. She misses the Punto and wants another. The conversion seems a good option.

Get yourself a copy or use the forum eper and have a nosey.

Like you say its just a few parts different if you dont wanna cover the windows with the proper metal bits.

If She covered the back windows, the Dartford tunnel would be dearer.
When she had the last van, we took the metal ones out and windows in for that very reason.

I reckon it would be cheaper, I would also tint the rears in Limo Black, I got that and you cant see in for sh**! and it will be ALOT cheaper!

Are you saying tinting will make insurance cheaper? never even considered it before but if thats the case

Oh god what have I said! Well I thought it would of been seeing how you aint going to be carrying 5 passengers, less products to cover, but.... they insurance might ask if you leave your tooling or what ever in the back, obviously what you are using your 'van' for. I would do a insurance check on it, but the conversion will have to be told to the DVLA. I dont know what the insurance company will ask for I dont know, but no harm in trying!
