I just picked up my 58 plate 1.4 16v GP and im loving it!

Just got a few problems (got it for a good price), first off the reverse light doesnt work so does anyone have a simple guide to changing the bulb? or is it likely to be a dodgy connector etc as there is no 'light' warning light on the dash to indicate a blown one

Ideally you need to jack the back corner up and axle stand it (dont work under a car supported just by a jack)


now allow the car to cool if the exhaust is hot


at the back of the cluster there is a cap turn this anticlockwise and it will come loose then pull then you can change the bulb

however it might not be the bulb it could also be the gear box "sender" which is a glorified switch which bolts into the gear box housing try the bulb first if not come back and i'll explain how to change it
