To day when i got to work i heard a funny noise from the engine bay, i opened the bonnet and looks like the fan has broke or something is stuck in it. anyway as i was looking round the engine bay i noticed that, the air filter has fallen off.

Dose any one know the size of the hole that the air filter goes on ?
I would do it myself but the cars at the garage getting fixed.

Its 70mm I believe. Il be finding out soon as im going to change mine Might makes sure all the clips are tight too...

The MAF's 70mm, but 90 degree bend may widen to 76.

Get a universal one with 70mm and 76mm in Theres one for £11 on ebay!

they are washable, should last years

how to wash them, the kits you can buy that wash the filter and replace the oils in it are more than the cost of a new filter lol so can you just wash them with water and dry?

them kits do 4 or 5 clean an re-oils though

oh right i thought i read they were one shot cleaners ill have another look need new jubilee clip aswell it looks wayyy rusted already

I ripped my filter when I crashed the tangerine so this is very handy to know! cheers!
