This has puzzled me for quite some time and to this day im still not sure when it is best to change gear in my GPS Mjet remapped by Red Dot (with standard intercooler). Does anyone have any ideas?

have a look at your rolling road printout..... see where peak torque is achieved, and once it drops off considerably, you need to change gear, mines like 2500-3500rpm

my graph is very simular to yours mate 2500 ~ 3500 rpm
Now my two graphs tell a simillar story on that matter.... 3500 seems to be where the torque dies out though.

For maximum thrust on a Red Dot map I'd change at 3.5k rpm, keeps you in the 2.5-3.5k power band.
My milder Angel tuning map is better kept between 3 and 4k as the torque doesn't peak until later on.

from looking at my graph it is very simular and would agree with changing gear at 3500rpm, however had a few races and ive found the later i leave it the better, although i dont like taking it too 4500rpm (turbo)
