Hi all
Just thought this my help some poor sole.

Daughters Grand punto ABS light came on and stayed on.

It had to go to fiat dealer for recall on steering column so asked them to look at fault.

They said we looked, it's going to be a big job (£200) and it's not covered as cars over two years old.

So to cut a long story short, when I had a look o/s/f abs and brake pad wear sensor wires were pulled out and broke at top of inner wing so pulled back plastic cover on wires, soldered wires and taped up replaced plastic covers and then taped them up like new. Jobs a good un.:D

I found job was easy to do with wheel off and rerouted wires as they had never been right from new to be honest.;)

Thats correct T14086.

That could be something to do with problem.

Hey top guy you on fiats.

Bet you got a soldering iron too if you run a fiat !

Yea must admit heatshrink would have been best but I did not have any.

I am good with tape and once had a girlfriend who worked at ward and goldstones at Leigh and she used to tape looms up every day.
